The second phase will transform these testimonies into a non-fiction book written by Fatemeh Ekhtesari and published in Norwegian. Each woman’s story will be presented in her own words, carefully curated to preserve authenticity while providing historical and social context. The book will also include photographs and reflections on the challenges of migration and adaptation. By making these accounts accessible to a broad readership, this phase will contribute to public discussion on gender apartheid, migration, and integration, as well as Norway’s role as a place of refuge.
